Hotel is def older, had some problems with the lights. Rooms were spacious and clean. Staff was friendly. Would stay here again since it's in a great location.
Mi visita fue al restaurante, sus buffet son de los mejores de la región, he comparado con otros y es excelente, desde tortillas a mano, antojitos y café de buena calidad. Empezando el año 2026 con remodelación del restaurante!! Provisionalmente es en el salón de eventos en primer piso, con acceso para silla de ruedas, la cordialidad y atención de siempre.

I think gran hotel xalapa is one of the best hotels in the city, the service is great, the people kind and the rooms are beautiful. The restaurant is delicious and it have multiple sports installations, a perfect place to relax and also get entertained.

Great location, a few blocks away from Downtown, the restaurant is really good and the buffets are the best, if you want something else there are other options arround it.
